Problem: Citrus grower sprinkler system leaking
Location: Port St. Lucie - St. Lucie County

 

We were called out on an emergency pipe lining job to give an estimate to re-line or replace hundreds of feet of underground pipe that was over 30 years old and leaking. Our pipe repair team was dispatched to perform a full inspection of the problem pipes using CCTV and visual inspection. It was found that roots had invaded a large portion of the pipes and that replacement would damage a large portion of trees. We recommended CIPP to repair / rehabiliatate the root damaged pipes. The customer chose to go with CIPP due to a lower cost and faster completion time. First, we had to remove all of the root and scale from the pipe system. After the pipes were cleaned, we installed Perma-Liner lateral pipe liners which will prevent any future root intrusion and create a seamless "new" pipe. Not only did this company save money on the pipe rehab, but they also saved money due to water savings and not having to replace damaged trees.
